Afternoon Emirates flight to Singapore, via Dubai.

Sunday, 28th December – Wednesday 31st December: SINGAPORE

Arrival in Singapore, transfer to hotel. Here we’ll have 2 full days at leisure to enjoy Singapore’s many attractions, such as Sentosa Island or join in on a city tour.

Wednesday 31st December – Saturday 03rd January: KUALA LUMPUR

Transfer to train station and early departure for Kuala Lumpur. Train journey will take approx 8 hours. Transfer from train station to hotel. The rest of the stay in Kuala Lumpur can be enjoyed by browsing through Malaysia’s cosmopolitan capital. One can admire the Petronas Towers, temples and shrines. Kuala Lumpur has a reputation of being a shopper’s paradise as it offers a huge array of goods – from electronics and clothes to antiques.

Saturday 03rd January – Sunday 04th January: CAMERON HIGHLANDS

After breakfast, we meet with our guide and head on to Cameron Highlands - famed for its tea plantations and cool temperatures. On the way we will stop to experience basket weaving, visit Lata Iskander waterfall and a native settlement. The following morning, we will tour the tea plantation, tea factory, market place and butterfly farm. In the afternoon, we will depart for Penang, crossing over the 5th longest bridge in the world. On the way we will enjoy visits to Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple, the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan. Overnight in Penang.

Sunday 04th January – Tuesday 06th January: PENANG

This morning, we will proceed for a city, culture and heritage tour of Penang. We will visit the world’s 3rd longest reclining Buddha, the Botanical gardens, Kek Lok Si Temple and Fort Cornwallis. After we will visit Georgetown and we can also enjoy a breezy trishaw ride. In the late evening, you can explore the nightlife along Batu Ferringhi.

Tuesday 06th January – Wednesday 7th January

In the late morning transfer to Butterworth train station, to board the international overnight train to Bangkok. The expected time in Bangkok is at 1000 hrs on the 07th January. Transfer from train station to hotel and check in at hotel.

Wednesday 07th January – Friday 09th January: BANGKOK

These two days are free for us to explore this modern and vibrant city ourselves. Bangkok as a lot to offer from shopping to visits to the Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha and the floating market. On Friday we check out late from our hotel and transfer to airport for our return flight home.

Saturday 10th January

Our flight departures Bangkok at 0130hrs back to Malta via Dubai with Emirates Airlines. Arrival in Malta is expected at 1320hrs.
